Arrington Edgar & Shiel has gone to great lengths to make sure that the AES JV Model is compliant with all North Carolina and Federal regulatory bodies.  We realize that there are many structures, that were common business practices just a few years ago, which are now in violation of numerous state and federal laws.  Please review the HUD White Paper, “Policy Statement on Sham Controlled Business Arrangements” for more information regarding RESPA.
